Hippo Board Interest Dinner

Do you have ideas of how you’d like to improve Hippocampus? Or interested in developing your professional, leadership, and teamwork skills? Then a board position might be for you! Being a board member is a great way to learn more about our stable and the horses and provides many opportunities for personal growth—and most importantly, is a super fun way to support and grow our riding community 🙂
On 25th April, 18:00-19:30 at the BARrage at Horstlinde, we’d like to chat with you more about your interest. Also, we’ll provide dinner!

Voorzitter / Chair: do you like being in charge and bossing people around? Do you want to feel the power of using the Hippo gavel (hammer)? Then you should consider being voorzitter.
Vice Chair: Your main job is acting in support of the others, mainly the Voorzitter and Lessoncommissaris, but you can specialize wherever you like.
Lessencommissaris: You will organize the weekly lessons and keep contact with the stable. You will also help with special lessons, such as jumping, outdoor rides, arranging new riders to join Hippo, or any other special lesson ideas you have (e.g., the 2022 Pas de Deux).
Secretaris: Do you like to be the one “in the know” about everything? Reminding everyone about what needs to be done? Keeping an overview of who is in Hippo and the latest gossip? Then secretary is right for you!
Penningmeester / Treasurer: Do you like to count money? Consider being the Hippo treasurer! Cryptocurrency investments are not allowed.
Wedstrijdcommissaris / Competition Commissioner: Love everything about SOs? Want to be in touch more with our sister associations? Check out the competition commissioner position!
Webmaster: Do you like banging your head against the wall trying to debug code, or finding creative workarounds for functions only accessible on paid/premium website versions? Then help maintain our website!
