Hippo’s first Bar Day for the academic year ’23-’24 is at the UT Sportkantine on Tuesday, 12 September. Sign up via the form below. Send questions to Renée and Malte, the candidate board, at voorzitter@hippo.utwente.nl.
If you haven’t, send your alcohol certificate to voorzitter@hippo.utwente.nl. If you don’t have your certificate, take the ~10 minute test here (province = Overijssel; association type = student association). Contact voorzitter@hippo.utwente.nl with questions.

As a reminder, all active members are required to stand bar for 5 hours per academic year (or 2,5 hours if you’re only a member for half the year). The fine for missed hours is now €22/hour, as voted on during the 2022-2023 Half-GMA, meaning missing the full 5 hours = €110 fine.
We do allow members to pre-pay a reduced fine. If you know you will not stand any bar hours during 2023-2024, please inquire about the reduced fine amount at voorzitter@hippo.utwente.nl.
